This week was the start of my Grand adventure, a week I have been looking forward to for almost a year and a half now. I’ve been extremely encouraged by the smoothness of my travels thus far. Everything has been hitch free, things such as lack of motion-sickness to nothing broken in luggage (also not losing said luggage) as well as flight times being accelerated and getting picked up immediately upon landing. I have been able to spend a few days so far in Delaware/Pensylvania area where I have had the pleasure of staying with some amazing family on my mothers side that I had previously never met. Tommorrow my sister and brother in law, my aunt and uncle and I are going to the Phillies game and I am very much looking forward to this as it will be my first professional sporting event. I’m here until Saturday evening when I actually head to Dublin (9:30 flight) and plan to do some touring of Pensylvania (especially Amish country) while here.

Every prayer and thought of insecurity or un-assuredness (if this wasn’t a word before it is now, deal with it) has been more than answered by God and put to ease. Also I will close with the explanation that this is in fact my first blog ever and in all honesty if you include re-reading this after completing it I have officially read maybe 3 blog posts ever. I say this to warn you that I do not know how blogging should be done (if in fact there is such a thing as blog etiquette) but this one will be to simply chronicle and document my experiences as well as God’s continual blessings in my life throughout this trip.

  1. This is a really cool idea. I’ll be looking forward to updates. Please post lots of pictures of you can. Also, special request for pics or stories of unique things you can’t find anywhere but Ireland.
